Estate and deceased-estate jewellery in Johannesburg
Inherited collections often mix gold, diamonds and sentimental pieces of little resale value. We go through the collection with you item by item, so family members can see how each figure is reached.
If you have inherited the pieces, we buy them from you as you would sell anything you own. If the estate is still being wound up, we can deal with the executor for you as part of the service. We can visit the home if travelling with the collection is not comfortable.
You are welcome to keep the pieces that matter and sell the rest. Nothing is decided until you say so.

Questions we are asked
- Which ID should I bring for an estate?
- Bring your South African ID or passport. If you have already inherited the jewellery, that is all we need. If the estate is still being wound up, we can work with the executor directly.
- Is there parking at the office?
- Yes. There is free, secure on-site parking at 25 Rudd Road, Illovo, with a visitor bay for your appointment and security guards on duty.
- How am I paid?
- Once you accept the offer, payment is typically the same day. There is no obligation to sell if the figure is not right.
- Do you buy broken jewellery?
- Yes. Estate collections almost always include worn or damaged pieces. They are valued on their metal and stones, and you do not need to clean or repair anything first.
- Do I need an appointment?
- Yes. We see clients privately and by appointment only, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, closed on South African public holidays. Book a time online and we will have an expert ready for you, or ask us to visit you instead.
