How the stone is made is often overlooked but it is actually a very important factor for the stone’s value if you would like to sell it one day. A well-made stone will have greater lustre, sparkle and shine. Also, the make will have almost as much influence on the price you get as the colour and clarity. Diamond manufacturers will often push to make the stone as big as possible and sacrifice on its make, ultimately reducing its value. In other words, bigger is not always better.
